I thought the Doctor Who Christmas Special was ok. The episode itself lacked a bit of consequence, narratively, although multiple Doctor eps are always great. David Bradley was fantastic as the 1st Doctor, and of course Capaldi was wonderful, as always. And as much as I was sad to see Peter go (while the 11th series was probably his weakest in lots of ways, it really felt like he’d finally settled completely into the role and I’d have happily seen him do another), Jodie’s arrival was tremendously exciting! Can’t wait to see what the new team comes up with in the autumn. Moffat will be the hardest of acts to follow. I should imagine his run in the Smith era will be hard, and maybe even impossible, to beat. But we’ll always have it x
Clara’s off. And The Doctor’s not best pleased.
Can’t really get enough of this GIF. From io9.
I read the first script. I’m sorry. But yeah, Capaldi’s gonna rock hard.
