There was also this. I was actually using my iPhone 4 camera flash (via a torch app) to light a DVD I was trying to examine. Then I got this awesome shot of the inside of the iPhone flah bulb. Beautiful micro-engineering.
Mrs Ben’s reading list (borrowed from my dad this weekend) is so much more high brow than mine.
Mrs Ben and I recently got a joint bank account. I didn’t want to do it. Obviously.
As you may know, from time to time I do tend to whinge about the trials of parenthood. Which are numerous and lingering. But you may also know, I do on occasion find being a dad monumentally rewarding.
For example.
Last weekend Lara and I watched Transformers: The Movie together. Which, if you aren’t aware, is fecking awesome. Tonight she insisted we read these at extreme length the moment we got in from school.
I win.
I shan’t regale you with the full version of the story, but suffice to say this is genuine one of my life highlights.
For the first time ever I’ve featured in the credits for a game. Specifically, Spilt Milk Studio’s Hard Lines. Also featured are my colleagues Michael French, Will Freeman, Robb Crossley and former co-worker Ed Fear.

The legend that is @spiltmilkstudio loves the Woohooheheh so much that he’s put it in his upcoming iOS game Hard Lines. This is genuinely one of my greatest ever achievements. It also means I can add ‘game developer’ to my CV, right?
