The best day of my life? No.1 and I were lucky enough to get previews tickets to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour. It was a magical day in every sense of the word. There are more pictures here if you’re interested.

Have got into using my iPad as a drawing tool recently. PhotoShop Touch is tremendous but I’ve just discovered SketchPad Pro, which is ideal for idle doodling. Here’s a hurried sketch of Rodimus Prime to prove how unartistic I am.

SUPER SATURN
Artist Ron Miller creates an artist’s conception of the newly discovered “Super Saturn”, whose four known rings extend for tens of millions of kilometres from the central object, the young, sun-like star 1SWASP J140747.93-394542.6. Without knowing the mass of the central body, we can’t know what central object the ring orbits, but Miller opted for a gas planet.

In June 2010 my girlfriend and daughter bought me a Transformer for Christmas. Six months later, this is the result.
Was bickering with Mrs Ben about it earlier. She argues they’re “little plastic bits of tat” whereas I remain adamant that they’re “little pieces of art”. And they are. The imagination, the engineering, the feelings they evoke.
Nightmare to dust, though.
